It's been a super busy summer for me between teaching every day and everything else I try to squeeze in. Thought I might share a few of the things I've been up to. I spent a almost a full week at the beginning of August, at the Huntington Beach Art Center working on this project with the Summer art camp. The theme for the week was dragons, so naturally me being me, I had them make masks, build a city complete with tanks, and helicopters and such and on the last day, they destroyed the whole thing. It was a pretty awesome week working with the little kids, except this one who blew in my face and asked if his breath smelled better now that he had eaten a cough drop. Sweet kid, my cold is just now clearing up.
