The Kiss

Virtually impossible to photograph well, this is an attempt at a counter balance piece that didn't exactly work out, it'd be better 20 or 30' tall, and extending from one space into another, only a portion of it visible at a time giving only a hint of the whole. I am very pleased with the way the drips turned out though.

Piss On Calvin

I'm tired of the calvin pissing sticker on bro-ish cars and trucks, I don't remember if it was even slightly amusing the first time I saw in back in the fucking 90's. More than decals which proudly announce the presence of a redneck driving the vehicle, the pissing calvin is the true mark of an individuals lack of individuality, class, and originality. I present to you a couple slight variations of Bill Watterson's lovable character, unfortunately, the paradox of the designs negates the placement of them on a car.

Advertising

Idea: We should be selling corporate advertising space on the homeless! Why not, advertising has infested everything else? Some clever copy writing: "I wish I had gone to Art Center." or "...Oh yeah, I did go to Art Center." "I'd panhandle for mickey-dees." It's perfect, the homeless, though slightly exploited, get paid/free clothing and there's cheap advertising for everyone!

Bookends

More mockups… These were initially envisioned a fountains, perhaps an ode to the Manneken Piss fountain in Brussels. The mockups wound up being a great size for them to be bookends; unfortunately cardstock isn’t great at holding up books.

Bookends Part 2

There are a lot of bad one-liners and puns that could go with these.

Worst Van Ever

Chanced to glimpse this on Saturday, I love this thing, it raises more questions than it answers such as: What were they thinking? Is this street legal? Is this even the same kind of van attached to the back? Where did they come from, and when are they leaving?

"The Finishing Touch" Update

This just in, parts of the Ground us Installation from the Huntington Beach Art Center have been spotted being smuggled in the back of a minuscule jeep by two adorable tiny people.
