Studio in progress

It's doubtful that these are going to be interesting to anyone else, but here are a couple shots from early April of my garage slowly turning into an insulated, drywalled, respectable looking studio. We've been working feverishly on and off since December to make the new/old house more live-able, part of the deal I struck was that I would work on the rest of the house before getting lost in improvements to the garage. I have been working in there for a couple weeks now on a project for the HBAC and I totally love the space. I am still working with less than perfect furniture, I figured, live with it for a while, figure out what I really need and want, but none the less, it is an extremely comfortable space to work in. I'll post some shots sooner or later of the studio with my junk in it.

Goiter

Had a cake decorating party/baby shower for a friend this weekend. After trying unsuccessfully to make something more traditional, I made mine into an unholy combination of a goiter and a giant ruptured pimple. Here's some inspiration from youtube and some other random site.

Golden Age

Gaga

I spend some time on the image blogs checking out what people are making, one subcategory that I've been seeing entirely way too much of Involves pictures of a landscape with some text over the top that says some sentimental, saccharine garbage such as: "I still miss you." Here's an example. I've decided to make a few of these that represent my own savory tastes.

SHAWTZ

Gotten some more sweet shouts on a few blogs lately, One of them, The Lumper is new to me, but has tons of great fine art and illustration work.

Spraygraphic has a sweet interview and a community of like minded artists that one might join.

Lastly, Sub-Studio is just cool. Thanks guys.
